Well, now that it's official that FTA is closing, there isn't much need for a dedicated site just for discussing what was FTA.

But that doesn't mean FTA MediaTalk is going away, just changing. I'll soon be locking down the old forums, open the archives for viewing, and create one or two general discussion forums so we can keep in touch, talk about "the good ol' days", and move on.

If I feel like one of the many (I assume) FTA knockoffs being started up is going to be successful, I will happily make this forum a place to discuss Television Simulation again, but I doubt that won't happen for a while. Also, the "do not reveal who you are" rule has been lifted for now.

You may comment on this and please feel free to suggest anything you may think of.

The second set of archives will close on Friday afternoon. At that point, the only place you'll be able to post is the Post-FTA General Discussion forum. Please use the archives for good and not for digging up old arguments to restart. Look back and laugh at it, don't get upset over it.
